Nature SIG – July 2026 Trip to Old Down
On Sunday 5th July, 6 club members went to Old Down near Basingstoke, a beautiful wild flower meadow which was alive with insects. This followed a previous successful trip this time last year. It took a while for the sun to come out but when it did, there seemed to be butterflies and bees everywhere – really lovely! After two or three hours with our cameras, we popped across the road for a well earned cold drink at the pub. Thanks to Paul Whitbread for organising.
