2026 Mini Marathon

On Sunday 2nd August a group of ten club members took part in our annual Mini Marathon, which this year took place in Guildford.
Our subjects were “Blooming”, “Discarded”, “Fashion” and “Straight Lines”. The object of the exercise is to take a photo for each subject in four hours. Only in-camera processing is permitted (or an App if using a phone) then we meet up in a pub and hand over our images for peer review and marking. It was a very warm day, so I suspect there were rather more refreshment stops than usual but as always it was an extremely enjoyable one.

The votes for the favourite image were scattered between the entries. Only one image managed to get two votes, showing there was a wide difference of opinions in votes cast. Congratulations to Lesley.
