2026 Exhibition

The weekend of September 26th and 27th saw the annual club exhibition in the Princes Mead shopping centre, Farnborough.

The exhibits featured 63 prints, and the public had an opportunity to vote for their favourite image. A total of 437 votes were cast (approximately 150 up on last year) and the top placed prints were

First Place: Sky Opening by Hortensja Malek
Second Place: Barn Owl with Wood Mouse by Ian Newell
Equal Third Place: Silent Seats at Swanage Sunrise by Jacquie Conway
Equal Third Place: Wild Kingfisher by Ian Newell

Here are a few of the boards on display

In addition to the 63 main prints, there was a display of street photography (mainly) printed in the 6*4 format many people will be familiar with. Many of these images were taken on small format cameras, or mobile phones.

Thanks must go to the club members who helped set up and take down the exhibition and talked to the public over the weekend. Particular thanks to Kerry and Lesley who manned it from start to finish, ensuring there was always a member to speak to. Thanks also go to Neil for transportation of the boards and Chris for organising the street board.

Finally, thanks go to the members of the public that stopped by to have a chat, cast their votes and generally make the weekend a success.
